The stages of criticism: how we continue to find ourselves to be enlightened.

According to one sage of the West, criticism has to go through three stages:

  1. It is impossible.
  2. It is possible, but it is useless.
  3. It is useful, but I knew about it all the time.

Criticism can then stop.
