I am an historian of ideas, particularly those relating to the Renaissance period. I study the relation between literary and artistic expression and philosophical inquiry. My concern is that the humanities find their voice in response to the pressing cultural demands that can limit their breadth and scope.
Hi, I’m Fiona, I am a ceramic and mixed media artist who is fascinated with the relationship between the mundane and idiosyncratic aspects of everyday life. In my art, professional, and academic work, I am drawn to people and strive to elevate the humanistic aspects in every field. Applying these personal principles to Humanities Watch, I endeavor to honor the humanity present in both the content and the intrinsic design.
I am an Experience Design and Business Administration Major with minors in Philosophy and Graphic Design. I value with enthusiasm creative and human centered design. One of my main goals is to procure a balance of satisfaction between designers and users. By applying ethical design skills I hope to further connect with an audience of a product and extend its message.
