Who is a superior person? Many levels of meaning.

The Master addressing Tzuˇ Kung said, “Which is the superior, you or Hui?” “How dare I look at Hui?” he answered. “Hui hears one point and from it apprehends the whole ten. I hear one point and apprehend a second therefrom.” The Master said, “You are not equal to him, I grant you, you are not equal to him.”
